Art & Sole STL Marathon Weekend

Another great St. Louis Marathon Weekend!!! This event continues to be a highlight on the spring racing schedule. We all had a blast hanging out at the expo on Friday. The weekend temps then dipped dramatically just in time for us to volunteer at the water station on Saturday. The sun came out for the Read, Right & Run as well as for the diaper dash. The pick day was Sunday when thousands of runners took to the streets of downtown for the marathon and half marathon. THIS WEEKEND HAD IT ALL!!! This has turned into a BIG TIME EVENT that continues to grow each year. I felt very good running the half marathon and got in just under 1:51. A little slower than last year but a good performance none the less. The time was not the big story this weekend - it was all about hanging out with friends and family. For my money, that is what it is all about.
