Proud To Be An American - 2007 MCM

Monday, October 30, 2006

We were all "PROUD TO BE AMERICANS" as we traveled to our nation's capital to take part in the Marine Corps Marathon. Dubbed "the people's marathon", the 26.2 mile route wound its way around all of the D.C. sights and turned out to be just a phenomenal course. The group from STL had as much fun playing around Washington D.C. as we did running around Washington D.C. This was just an unbelievable time. A great group, a great city and a great race made for a phenomenal weekend! This race should be added to everyone's marathon calendar. Alexis & Jack's Dad did pretty well. Here are my stats on the day...

Total Time: 3h:53m:16s

Compared To The Total Field: 3191st place with 17761 finishers behind. About 15% of finishers ahead.

Compared To All Male Runners: 2528th place with 10280 finishers behind. About 20% of finishers ahead.

Placing In My Division (M35-39): 505th place with 1900 finishers behind. About 21% of finishers ahead.
