Race For Sight

Tuesday, May 06, 2008

In the ultimate display of complete TEAM FRACTURE, Tommy Rosenthal got up at 330am and traveled BY HIMSELF down to Columbia, MO for Race For Sight. Sporting the new TRI BULL racing uniform, TPR had a heck of a race as he finished the sprint in 1:15:37. He beat other notables including Paul Schon (1:16:17), Sean O'Neal (1:19:00), Francisco (1:23:43) and my all-time favorite, Amy Ohlau (1:29:24). Tommy proved that all you have to do is stop working in order to spend more time training and you TOO can improve your triathlon performance by a couple of minutes. Just kidding. He does still work one day per week!! The only disappointment came from Julie Pepper and had nothing to do with her swim performance - it came from the fact that she did not like Tommy's bike jersey and pants combination. This could lead to some serious marital discord down the road when Pep dons the team uniform!!! Stay tuned...
