Our good friend and two time Ironman finisher, the well respected Dr. Seiichi Noda was prominently featured in the Business Journal today. The heart doc shared his philosophy on combating stress...My hobby is doing triathlons so I have a pretty rigorous schedule that includes swimming, biking and running year-round. My wife also participates, so we try to do the activities together. My son runs for his high school cross-country team so some running I will do with my son. If I have a very busy day, like two heart surgeries in a day, I try to break it up by doing something in between, like going for a short jog. I find that if I remain physically active, it allows me to stay focused on the things I do at work.
Interestingly enough though was the fact that he left out the part about taking a 2 hour nap every day.
