Boston Preview

Saturday, March 21, 2009

With the Boston Marathon just a few short weeks away we decided that it was time to profile our very own Michael Pepper who will be competing in this prestigious event. Rumours still abound that Mike gained entry via a sponsorship exemption (his company does work with the official carpet sponsor) as opposed to qualifying time but either way this Tri Bull will be headed to beantown for a 26.2 mile jaunt. I look for this triple keystoning retailer to have a good run. His ability to analyze the carb to protein ratio of every energy drink in the market is uncanny and ensures that he will be well hydrated for the race. The guy has not had a piece of cheese in 10 years so he will not be slowed down by any dairy product. He is in great shape going into Boston and will perform well if he follows Coach Elf's plan. His explosive power promises not to disappoint the talent rich field in Boston. Good luck Pep and don't spend over $5,000 buying Boston Marathon garb so that everyone walking down the street knows that you did the race.

Tri Bull or Ski Bull

Friday, March 06, 2009

More proof that I was onto something with the Tri Bull uniform!!! This Breckenridge ski instuctor was the envy of the entire mountain. Seen here heading to the Back Bowls on Peak 8, this guy was made an immediate member of the Tri Bull racing team. TAKE THAT JULIE PEPPER!

Working Hard

Thursday, March 05, 2009

Work has been very demanding. It has really taken a toll with my training. I just can't seem to be able to clear my desk of everything that I have to do. The training that I have been able to do has been much more snow related!!! We have had springlike conditions out here and the snow has been awesome. I did run 6 miles this morning which should get me ready for Peak 10 at Breckenridge this weekend.

The Colorado Marathon

Wednesday, March 04, 2009

The Colorado Marathon is billed as America's Most Scenic Course. This year's Marathon, Half Marathon, Point-to-Point 5K, 10K, and Kids Run will take place on May 3, 2009. The race takes place in Ft. Collins and features a fast course. I could really see Tommy qualifying for Boston on a course like this. The Strassner Mansion is currently accepting reservations for anyone who wants to come out for this event.

Boulder Bolder

Tuesday, March 03, 2009

You have 82 days remaining to get in shape for the Bolder Boulder. This 10k run takes place over Memorial Day and is an awesome event. I am currently working very hard on recruiting Bernice Irwin for this race which will feature over 50,000 participants! From the gun you will be mesmorized by the beautiful Boulder mountain scenery. The coolest part of this event is the finish which takes place in a packed Folsom Field - you truly finish the race like an Olympian.
