Lewis & Clark Half Marathon
Sunday, September 17, 2006
Just a quick 20 mile jaunt!!!We used the Lewis & Clark Half Marathon as a training run for the Marine Corps Marathon. Vic, Denlow, Lynn, Beth, Rosenthal, Pepper and I started at 545am and got seven miles in before crossing the starting line. When it was all said and done we had a 20 mile run under our belt. Weather was nice - a little humid but not too bad. The general consensus today was that an Ironman distance is a long, long way to go. This race also marked the start of the 50 marathons in 50 states that Dean Karnazes is attempting. You can check out his web log by clicking here.
